Actually I prefer Gerber baby bath products! Lots of great smells, cute bottle, and easy to dispense! Also very good at getting grease out of hair (used olive oil on my son's scalp to help with cradle cap and the Gerber stuff washed it clean easily!) My kids still use it, and it doesn't sting their eyes!

I like the lavender scent the best. The neat thing too is that you can use it on their body and hair which is nice when washing a baby, you don't have to mess with 2 different bottles or slippery soap!

Try washing your hair the night before so you don't have to blow dry.

You may also want to take a trip to Sally's Beauty supply and pick up some heat protector there to spray into your hair before applying the heat tools.

Also, you could give your hair a break every so often [like Saturday night] and put in some olive oil over night and wash it out the next morning.

Also, after styling, put in a leave in conditioner, which can also be found at Sally's Beauty Supply.

You can also go to Walmart and get Herbal Essence leave-in conditioner.

if you want to go curly try a curl shampoo and use a defuser you can hold it close to ur hair and not do as much damage and try a curl lock spray and to go sraight use a spray in conditioner after u straighten it hope this helps!!!

Always use a shampoo and conditioner that is made for the hairstyle that you are going to wear for that day. Also, try not to wash it every day. That strips A LOT of moisture out of your hair! Always use a leave-in conditioner before you blowdry, i like herbal essence or garnier fructise. If you go curly, use a difuser. I ALWAYS use biolage serum on my ends esp. when I'm going to straighten my hair. It leaves it silky smooth and helps protect it from all the heat being applied to it! Also, try to use a hair mask (deep conditioner) at least once a week to help revive your hair.

I agree with Jai! Carol's Daughter's products are amazing. I have natural (4a-b) hair and it works wonders when my hair is dry. It's a bit pricey but the good thing about it is that it goes a long way. However, your hair might react a different way to her products. There is a variety of products out there, so it's basically it's all about trial-and-error.

The only thing I would recommend is to stay away from products with alcohol (it will dry your hair) and petroleum (it will clog your pores and coat your hair, preventing them from receiving any nutrients).

your hair grows on teh outside as a response to wahts on the inside, so be healthy, drink lots of water and get ur protein...that being said, there is no products to help ur hair grow...hair has its own life span and that difffers between people...ur hair may not grow past the middle of ur back, not everyone can grow the same length of hair...ur hair span may have a life of 5 years versus someone else having a span of 8 years, the average is 7 years...thats why some people who try and try for long hair just cant, its just not genetically possible

Ive tried so many times before a little trick many people use in Mexico: birth control pills. Just crush them and put them inside the shampoo bottle and let them sit for a few days and start using the shampo like before. It will work. You know what product sells really well and use all natural earth products is AVEDA they have an option or should I say a school that you could attend to become a rep, I have found aveda a wonderful product, the smell, the different choices you are able to pick from as far as curly hair to flat dull hair, people suffering from dried frizzy hair and over processed hair are able to use aveda products where it actually stores back their hair, I love aveda and they have a line in makeup as well as perfume and overall I rate them as a 10+ as I have used them for years and have not found any other product except Pureology to be as good as aveda, you will get a lot oh clients that are very well off that will spend tons of money on these products. If you have any open sores or patches of dry skin contact your doctor for a proper diagnoses. But if there are no patches or conditions then chances are you just need a good cleaning or moisturizing shampoo.

You should always change your shampoo to the present condition of your hair. If you have healthy shiny hair, you need a light-shampoo, if you use colour you might try a color seal shampoo. Every shampoo lines carries moisturising shampoo in all shapes, sizes and prices. Season, activity heat intensity, products used after your blow dry can make your hair dry. It閳ユ獨 quite simple to fix. A good moisturizing conditioner will help also.

Sometimes a hairspray or styling product may cause a little build up around the surface of your scalp. Look at the label and make sure your shampoo is a cleaning or cleating shampoo. Their purpose is to get rid of build-up and keep your hair clean allowing a conditioner to work. Sometimes if there閳ユ獨 too much build-up the conditioner you put at your scalp can閳ユ獩 reach down to the root where the root of the matter is. No pun intended.

The only caution when using a cleansing shampoo is that if you just had a dark or red colour it will fade it faster then a regular moisturizing shampoo. Ask your stylist what you can do to help that, they probably have the product that will fix both problems.

There is a semi-new product for curly hair that is by a product company called Deva Concepts. Their curly hair line is called DevaCurl, and it is the best line for curly hair that I have ever used.

Their concept is simple, and effective. Curly hair does better when we are not stripping all the moisture out of it! So their shampoo is designed to cleanse only the scalp. The shampoo is applied to the scalp, AFTER the conditioner is applied to the midshaft and ends. You wash your scalp, and leave the conditioner on the ends, and rinse it ALL off together. They reccomend that you merely run your hands through your hair to detangle, and scrunch the water out of your hair with a towel. Then you scrunch the gel (AnGel) into your hair, and either diffuse or let dry. But you should continue to reinforce the curl pattern with the scrunching, and not wrap your hair in a towel, or brush your curls straight while brushing it wet. If you like to go a couple days between washings, their product, Mr. Right, is an excellent spray gel that reactivates the AnGel.

I am a hairdresser with very long and thick naturally curly hair, and I am telling you from personal experience this is the best stuff out there. You can check the Deva Concept website for where you can find a retailer in your area. People in my city drive from all over because we are one of the few salons that carry it.

I must reccomend that you avoid grocery store brands, they are not what they are cracked up to be.

Brush your hair, try not to blow dry it so often, and you can deep condition it once in awhile. Take good care of your lovely locks!

Now once you stop perming your hair it will go through withdrawal. It will try to be dry and unruly. But what you do is buy some Jojoba Oil, Deep Conditioner and Creamy Moisturizing Shampoo.

OH, and if you don't already sleep in a silk scarf. It will help retain the natural moisture your hair has. Black Hair (i'm assuming you are of color bcuz of your avatar) needs Oxygen and Moisture to Thrive.

Also try a homemade Deep Conditioner I got from my Grandmother, She is Cherokee. Take some 100 % Pure Virgin Olive Oil and Some 100% Pure Honey (make sure they say 100 % pure) warm it up in the microwave about 30 seconds and massage it into your scalp and let sit for 30 minutes. Do this twice a month and I gurantee your hair will be more soft and manageable and it will also be extra moisturized while you are trying to switch to natural.

Try to stay away from ANY chemical that is used to change the texture of your hair. Some Gels and Hair Spray can be harmful also....so I would suggest wearing some natural styles for awhile, like twists or a free form fro...or maybe after you wash and deep condition, braid your hair in 5 or 6 sections, let it dry then take them out, your hair should have the wavy/crinklly look.

I recommend regular hair oil massages. Atleast 3 times a week. Oil your hair and massage your scalp for 15-20 mins. Before washing your hair wrap a hot towel on your head for 15 mins. Thisway the pores on your scalp will open up and absorb the oil. Oil massages nourishes the hair and promotes growth. Another way to promote hair growth is through this yoga exercise. Rub your fingernails against each other for 15 mins everyday. I'm in love with Frederic Fekkai silkening creme-- you can buy it at Bath %26amp; Body Works or sometimes Victoria's Secret if you're at the mall. It's a big green tube and it costs about $25 but I have long hair and I only need to buy it once a year. My hair is very dry and thick though and this product is not meant to give body-- I imagine if you have smooth, fine hair already it might appear even thinner or oily.

I also suggest trying Paul Mitchell's glossdrops, which works well and costs less than $10 a bottle.

Out of that list I would avoid names like Herbal Essences and Aussie and try salon products such as Biolage or Matrix-- hairdressers use certain lines for a reason. :)

Also products with jojoba oil and sunflower oil will work wonders on making your hair soft as well. If they contain: MINERAL OIL, or PETROLEUM, do not use them. this does not moisturize your hair. it simply coats the hair to make it look healthy. when in reality it is blocking the hair from absorbing any real moisture. so your hair ends up extremely greasy and unhelathy.

Go to sites like Pantene, Dove, Estee Lauder etc (ie all well known brands). If they have any offers going you can sign up immediately via their website. I have recently got a lot of shampoo and conditioner samples from Pantene so that might be a good starting point. Daz and Bold were also recently giving out samples too.

Is there a hair care product that REALLY takes out the frizz??

I've used many different kinds of store-brands but nothing seems to really work.. my hair is just wavy, not a curly fro or anything so I don't need anything too heavy. Does anyone have any home-remedy ideas?? Or a store bought product that worked wonders on you?

I use S factor and it really helps my hair which was damaged by a perm (talk frizz!). Also it's sometimes worth consulting with a good salon - see what products they recommend. While those cost a little more, the results are typically much better than what you get at the store.

get some cheap facial moisturiser and apply liberally to your hair - do this at night so its on for max time poss - it will make your hair greasy - make sure you use old pillowcases too in case it goes on them - rinse out in the morning, and your hair wil be shiny and reduce amount of frizz

If you've got spare cash here are some good products for ya:

Neutrogena high moisture conditioner. It's VERY thick and creamy. On the bottle it says to use it daily, but dont. Once a week is sufficient. (comes in a tan bottle with an orange cap)

John Frieda Frizz Control Serum. Smooth it thru your hair before you blow dry and it'll keep your hair silky and not saticky.

No money? grab an old spray bottle from body splash and if there's still some spritz in it, leave it in there. Mix 1/2 the bottle with baby oil and 1/2 with water. Shake well before every use and spritz over your hair before you blow dry.

i spray my hair brush with a regular hold hair spray....wave it around so it dries for a second...then brush your hair....It won't make your hair stiff or anything it just keeps the static out.....i also take a dryer sheet and seal it in a baggie and stick it in my purse...when i'm out somewhere i just rub it underneath then on top my hair...this stops static and it makes your hair smell fresh too!!

I've bought those products before but I don't think I've noticed those anti-theft devices. I have a hard time dying my hair so I buy them. I think, maybe, if you want, Start to bring this up in public, address your community and say something people do have equal rights.
