Black Hair Care Growth Products?

I have a daughter who is 2 years old, and like myself she was born bald and doesn't have that much hair. I am bi-racial and her father is African American, I have very long hair all the way down to butt. B/c of the way she was born (bald), I assume she will have long hair like me. However, her hair seems to be taking a long time to grow (like myself), is there a product that I can buy at the store (or even home remedy) that can stimulate her hair to grow faster and longer?

My step daughter got head lice once and she got it bad from school.... Her mom ended up shaving her head...poor thing. Anyways there was concern about how long before it grew back and she didn't look like a boy (were talking military Short!) The BARBER her mom brought her to said to massage her head for five minutes a day because it will stimulate her hair folicules. Keep it up and her hair will grow about 1/2 inch in a month. We all did this with her and i used to do it with MY daughter when she was a baby. It grew like wild fire! I havent cut my daughters hair with the exception of a trim...her hair at 5 y/o is 1/2 way down her little butt. Seriously were talking mermaid long beautiful hair!

Careful what you wish for though because with length come tangles...ouchy use a detangler and/or put her hair in a pony tail when it gets to that length. I get told all the time if i ever cut it... im a dead woman....lol

Dont use a bunch of products on her shes a babe yet and that stuff isnt good. Just have some "quality" time and massage her head in circles with your fingers tips. soft and gentle. Johnsons or kids Sauve detangler is just fine.

In my home-land, the get a baby shorn, then massage the head, with mustard -oil.

she's just 2 so dont try too many stuff in her hair just leave her hair the way it is it will grow.

try a mix of castor and olive oil with a few drops of rosemary e\o.and the old fashion plaiting

she's just a baby being concerned about her hair growth should be one of the farthest things from your mind.

She is a child, so I wouldn't even look for a quick fix solution. Some of the chemicals in hair products I wouldn't even recommend to an adult.

First look at some of the things that cause hair thinning/hair loss and fix them: stress, bad diet, dirty hair, etc. Once she is old enough, supplement her HEALTHY DIET with child multivitamins.
